Ingredients
1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard
1/4 teaspoon Mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Vinegar
3 cloves Garlic
5 tablespoons Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon Salt
3 pinches Black pepper
Preparation
Smash garlic cloves; peel but leave mostly whole.
Combine all ingredients in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Just before serving remove garlic cloves, then shake vigorously to emulsify. Pour over salad and toss well.
Note: The format wouldn’t allow me to say several grinds of fresh pepper, so don’t take the 3 pinches too seriously.
