Ingredients
⅛ cup frozen or fresh raspberries
⅛ cup frozen or fresh huckleberries
1 garlic clove, minced
½ (1 tsp.) seeded and minced jalapeño
½ cup finely chopped sweet onion
1 cup ketchup
1 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 beef bouillon cube
¼ cup hot water
Preparation
Combine raspberries, huckleberries, garlic, jalapeño and onion in blender and mix on high speed. While the mixture blends, place ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, bouillon cube and water in a large saucepan. Stir over moderate heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Pour the blended ingredients into the saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir constantly to keep the sauce from sticking to the pan. Pour the sauce on chicken, beef or pork.
