Ingredients

2 cups soy sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

1 tsp. rosemary

2 tsp. lemon juice

2 tsp. garlic powder

2 tsp. black pepper

2 tsp. sesame oil

½ cup of General Tso’s sauce

A spoonful of liquid smoke

2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil

Red pepper flakes (optional)

Preparation

Mix all the ingredients together in a deep glass baking dish or bowl. Let rest for at least 6 hours. When grilling steaks, let stakes marinate in mixture for 20 minutes, turning every 5 minutes or so. Then grill to your taste and level of doneness. For pork ribs, smoke for 3 hours at 230 degrees, or slow grill for 3 to 4 hours at 225 degrees, basting with marinade mixture every half hour. Any remaining marinade can be boiled to sauce consistency and used as a sauce. If you like it spicy, mix in a teaspoon or more of red pepper flakes.
