Ingredients
½ cabbage
½ cup vegetable oil OR ¼ vegetable, ¼ sesame seed.
Pkg of Top Ramen soup mix
2 TBSP sugar
5 TBSP red wine vinegar
½ TSP salt
½ TSP Pepper
1 small pkg of Almonds
1 bunch green onions (slice greens and whites separately)
Preparation
- In bowl mix vegetable oil, packet of Top Ramen soup mix spices (not noodles), sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and whites of the onions. Mix and store.
- Finely chop cabbage and add copped greens from green onions.
- Brown almonds in broiler
- Add liquid mixture to cabbage and toss.
- Add almonds (chicken is optional).
Best if made an hour or so before serving.
