Ingredients

½ cabbage

½ cup vegetable oil OR ¼ vegetable, ¼ sesame seed.

Pkg of Top Ramen soup mix

2 TBSP sugar

5 TBSP red wine vinegar

½ TSP salt

½ TSP Pepper

1 small pkg of Almonds

1 bunch green onions (slice greens and whites separately)

Preparation

  1. In bowl mix vegetable oil, packet of Top Ramen soup mix spices (not noodles), sugar, vinegar, salt, pepper and whites of the onions. Mix and store.
  2. Finely chop cabbage and add copped greens from green onions.
  3. Brown almonds in broiler
  4. Add liquid mixture to cabbage and toss.
  5. Add almonds (chicken is optional).

Best if made an hour or so before serving.
