Ingredients
1 cup salted Spanish Peanuts or Mixed nuts
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
1 Tbls. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
In 1/2 quart casserole, stir together syrup, sugar and salt. Cook on high 3 minutes. Stir in nuts. Cook another 2-3 minutes. Stir in butter and vanilla. Cook another 2 minutes. Add baking soda and quickly stir until light and foamy. Immediately pour onto lightly greased baking sheet. Spread out thin. As candy cools, pull and stretch even thinner. Break into pieces when completely cool and store in airtight container.
