Ingredients
2 1/2 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth or Swanson® Certified Organic Chicken Broth
12 tablespoons Butter, divided
1 dash ground black pepper
2 stalks celery, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
1 large onion, coarsely chopped (about 1 cup)
1 package (14 ounces) Pepperidge Farm® Herb Seasoned Stuffing
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Butter a 9 x 9 pan.
- Place the Pepperidge Farm Unseasoned Cubed Stuffing in a large bowl. Set Aside
- In a large skillet over medium heat melt 4 tablespoons butter, add celery and onion, cook for 10 minutes or until softened.
- Pour the herb mixture over the cubed stuffing; mix to incorporate.
- Measure the chicken stock into a 4 cup measuring cup or bowl then pour over the stuffing. Combine lightly.
- Place stuffing in prepared pan.
- Melt the remaining 8 tablespoons butter; pour evenly over stuffing.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes.
