Ingredients

1-1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 cup plain cake flour

1/4 teaspoons salt

2 tablespoons sugar

6 ounces unsalted butter, quartered and diced

1/4 cup vegetable shortening

1/2 cup ice water

Preparation

Blend flour, sugar, salt and diced butter. Add shortening and immediately pour in ice water. Blend with pastry dough blender. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
