Ingredients

1 lb. Hamburger

1 Can Kidney Beans - Drained

1/2 c. Chopped Onions

1 Can Tomato Sauce

1 Can Diced Tomatoes

1 c. Macaroni or Pasta of choice

Herbs of choice

Chili Powder

Sharp Cheddar Shredded

Sour Cream

Crackers

Preparation

Cook hamburger in skillet until lightly browned. Drain. Cook pasta and drain. Chop onions and tomatoes (if using fresh tomatoes). In a large pot, combine hamburger, pasta, onions, tomatoes, beans, tomato sauce. Simmer over medium heat 30 min. - 2 hrs. Add chili powder, salt, pepper, and herbs to taste while cooking. ( I like fresh basil, bay leaf, and thyme.)

Serve in a bowl with crackers, shredded cheddar and sour cream on top.
