Ingredients

1/2 green pepper chopped

1 onion chopped

3 lbs ground beef

2 cans mild Brook’s chili beans with gravy

1 pkg Lawrey’s chili seasoning

1 pkg McCormick chili seasoning

1 pkg French’s chilio

Tomatoes according to seasoning packages

2 Tbs brown sugar (or to taste)

Preparation

  1. Brown meat, drain. Then saute peppers and onions with meat.

  2. mix together: beef mixture, seasoning packets, tomatoes, brown sugar.

  3. Add beans after chili has simmered or 1 hour before serving.
