Ingredients

6 Eggs

1 1/3 C Sugar

2 sticks Margarine melted

2 t Anise*

1 T Vanilla

3 1/3 C Flour**

4 t Baking Powder

*If using anise oil, make sure you use very little because it has a very strong flavor.

**3 1/3 Cups = 1 lb of flour

Preparation

-Beat eggs gradually, add sugar, blend until smooth -Add slightly cooled margarine and *anise and vanilla, mix gently. -Mix flour and baking powder together -Blend flour mixture into egg mixture until smooth -Dough will be sticky enough to be dropped by spoon. -Drop one rounded tablespoon into each of the pizzelle spaces. Gently close machine and let cook about 40 seconds or golden brown. Allow to cool
