Ingredients
1lb bacon or ham, cut into 1" pieces
6 potatoes, peeled, diced 1/2" cubes
4 stalks celery, diced
1 small onion, diced
48oz stock
2t salt
1t pep
5T flour
parsley
2 bay leaves
Preparation
- Brown bacon / ham, remove from pan.
- Sautee onion in bacon / ham grease until soft / translucent.
- Add celery, add flour - cook off.
- Add broth and then pots and parsley, then add salt and pep and bay leaves.
- Simmer for 20 minutes until thick; add bacon and parsley on top.
