Ingredients

2 packages (of 10 ounces) matzo

1/2 cup butter

6 eggs

Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Boil water with salt. To prepare matzo, smash crackers in a large bowl and cover with the hot water. Soak until the matzo is soft, then drain.

Melt butter in a skillet. Add matzo and stir until dry and browned.

Remove matzo from heat. Add eggs to matzo until it holds together. Salt and pepper to taste.
