Ingredients
1 Cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 Cup granulated sugar
3 Eggs
1/2 Cup butter melted
2 Tbsp milk
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
1 Cup Chopped pecans
1 Frozen (9") deep-dish pie shell thawed
1 Cup pecan halves
Preparation
Preheat oven to 325* In bowl whisk sugars, eggs, butter, milk and vanilla until smooth. Reserve 2 tsp batter. Stir chopped pecans into remaining batter. Pour into pie shell. Toss pecan halves into reserved batter; arrange over filling in pie. Bake 55 minutes until firm still having a slight jiggle in the middle. Cool on rack. Chill until set, about 4 hours. If desired garnish with whipped topping.
