Ingredients

2 teaspoon Butter

2 Onions (chopped)

4 teaspoon Ginger root (shredded)

2 teaspoon salt

1.5 teaspoon ground tumeric

2 cinnamon sticks

4 cloves garlic

2 pound lean stewing beef

10 ounce beef broth

2 Apples (sliced)

1 cup Dried apricots

2 tablespoon Almonds

2 tablespoon cilantro

2 Lime wedges

Preparation

Melt butter in pan. Cook onions, ginger root, salt, tumeric, cinnamon sticks until glazed. Add garlic and stewing beef and cook until brown

add beef broth and bring to boil

divide contents into two tagines

cover and cook at 325 for 1 hour

remove tagine

add apricots and apples, recover and cook for 30 more minutes
