Ingredients

1 pound Ground Beef

4 cloves Minced Garlic

1 head Chopped Onion, medium

2 tablespoons Olive Oil

3 pieces Bay Leaves

6 cloves Whole Cloves

1 piece Large Cinnamon Stick

1 teaspoon Salt

1 teaspoon Oregano

6 pieces Black Peppercorns

1 1/2 teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper

1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper

45 ounces Tomato Sauce three 15 ounce cans

1/2 cup Water

Preparation

Heat the oil in pot. Add onion and garlic and cook until translucent. Add all the spices heat through (3 minutes).

Add the beef and stir until brown (or add the veggies and stir to coat).

Drain excess fat if using beef.

Add tomato sauce and water. Bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer 1 1/2 hours partially covered.
