Ingredients

1 kg extra lean ground beef

1/2 cup small onion, minced (to taste)

1/2 tablespoon dried oregano

1/2 tablespoon dried thyme

1 pinch ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)

1/3 cup BBQ Sauce

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup bread crumbs (to keep the mix from being too sticky)

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

Form patties to the size desired. I like to take a good handful (about 1 cup) and make larger patties, so I generally get ten or eleven.

Cook on the BBQ, flipping every few minutes until done.
