Ingredients

2 C fresh or frozen cranberries (or raspberries]

1/3 C sugar

1/3 C walnuts (or sliced almonds toasted slightly)

3/4 C melted butter

1 C sugar ( for tart use 3/4/ c for cranberries and 1/2 C for raspberries)

1 C flour

2 eggs

1 1/2 tsp almond extract

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350 and grease pie pan. Line the bottom of the pan with berries and top with 1/3/ of sugar and 1/3/nuts. mix the additional sugar, flour, eggs, butter and almond extract. Pour over berries/sugar/nuts. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until center is firm and top is golden. (put foil around edges for the first 20 minutes to keep the edge from getting too crispy.
