Ingredients
3/4 c warm water
3/4 c white wine
1.5 tsp. salt
2 tsp. yeast
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp milk
4.5 c flour
Preparation
- dissolve salt and yeast in water.
- add milk and oil.
- add liquid mixture to flour, mix.
- add white wine until mixture holds together, then knead until smooth.
- preheat oven and pizza stone to 500 degrees.
- roll out the dough on a floured board, stretch into pizza shape.
- assemble pizza toppings to taste, place on heated stone.
- bake 7-10 minutes.
this dough also freezes well. after step 4, place it in a sealed container. when ready to use, allow the dough to thaw, then sit at room temperature for one hour before rolling.
