Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Dark Brown Sugar

1 cup Butter

1 egg

1 teaspoon Vanilla

1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour

1 cup Oats

1 teaspoon Baking Soda

1 cup Walnuts, coarsely chopped

12 ounces Dark Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Heat oven to 375 degrees.  In a large mixing bowl, beat together brown sugar, butter, egg and vanilla

Stir in flour, oats and baking soda.  Dough will be stiff.

Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 8 minutes or until light brown around the edges.  Let cool slightly and transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
