Ingredients

8oz dark brown sugar

4 egg whites

2oz finely chopped nuts

4 oz dark choc

2tbs water

Preparation

spread sugar over baking sheet and put in 300° oven 15-20 min until dry and crumbly. process into powder. Beat egg whites stiff and ad 1/2 sugar and beat stiff. fold in remaining sugar and nuts and beat until thick and glossy. cook on wax paper 2-3 hours until firm. Let cool. Melt choc and water, dip merangues halfway in choc.
