Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

1/2 creamy or crunchy peanut butter

2 cups sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

4 eggs

1/2 cup cocoa

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 cups (10 oz) Reese’s bits for baking

Preparation

Heat oven to 350. Grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan. In large microwave-safe bowl, combine butter and peanut butter. Microwave at high for 2 to 2.5 minutes, until butter is melted and mixture is smooth when stirred. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well with wooden spoon after each addition. Add cocoa; beat until well-blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; beat well. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake 10 minutes; sprinkle baking bits over surface. Bake additional 20-25 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
