Ingredients

4 stalks celery

1 onion

6 cloves garlic

1 tablespoon pepper

1 teaspoon salt

28 ounces crushed tomatoes

56 ounces tomato sauce

6 ounce tomato paste

2 tablespoon rosemary fresh

1 tablespoon basil fresh

3 cloves whole cloves

1 teaspoon sugar

3 cups Water

1 tablespoon olive oil

Preparation

Chop first 3 ingredients and sauce in olive oil until tender.

Add remaining ingredients and simmer slowly, covered about an hour. In a crockpot probably 2-3 hrs. on low.

If desired, blend until smooth.

Add chicken or meat cook until done. The chicken and meat have the best flavor!

Top with fresh parmesan grated cheese.

Dried spices can be substituted. Use half the amount of fresh.
