Ingredients
1/2 cup 1/2 C. Butter (1 stick)
1 cup 1 c sugar (brown sugar for part of this is amazing)
2 eggs
6 tablespoon cocoa powder
2 tablespoon coconut oil
2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnut pieces
1 dash sea salt
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 (or slightly higher)
Grease and / or line an 8 inch square baking dish with parchment paper
Beat sugar and butter until creamy then gradually add eggs, beating until mixture is smooth and fluffy.
Add cocoa, vanilla, & oil
Then add the flour (with salt mixed in) in 2-3 parts, mixing well after each addition
OPTIONAL: stir in chocolate chips and walnut pieces
Pour batter into pan
Sprinkle sea salt over top
Bake for 25-35 minutes. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing. Makes 1 small or 12 medium brownies.
