Ingredients
2 cups Almond Milk (unsweetened), Soy Milk or Dairy Milk
2 cups European Style Plain Yogurt (TJs whole milk organic is good)
1/2 cup Orange Juice
1 tablespoon Honey
2 cups Old-Fashioned Oats
1/4 cup Slivered Almonds (toasted)
1/4 cup Flaxseed Meal
1/4 cup Dried Fruit such as cherries or raisins
1 piece Fresh apple (peeled and grated coarsely)
Preparation
Whisk together the first 4 ingredients until smooth
Add oats, slivered almonds, flaxseed meal, dried fruit
Grate apple into the mixture and stir
Chill in fridge overnight, or for several hours to allow mixture to soften and blend
If a thinner muesli texture is desired, add more milk or OJ as desired
Serve over sliced fresh fruit (such as berries, stone fruit, pears, figs) and top with toasted cashew pieces.
