Ingredients

1 cup Butter

1 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon salt

1 egg yolk

2 cup flour

1 cup pecans

Preparation

combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly and press into a cookie sheet (with raised edges)

with a clean/dry mixer beat the egg white until stiff, note, do this step prior to mixing the main ingredients because if you do it first then it will be clean

spread the frosting like egg white over the dough in the cookie sheet,

bake for 35 minutes, until browned slightly, cut while hot
