Ingredients
2 cup All purpose flour
2 cup white sugar
2 piece eggs
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
20 ounces crushed pineapple
8 ounce cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and sugar. Make well in the center and add the eggs, vanilla and crushed pineapple. Mix to blend.
Bake for 45 minutes, or to see if the cake is ready insert a toothpick into the cake and see if it comes out clean.
For the frosting: in a bowl, mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar, butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Beat it until creamy. Spread it on the warm cake.
