Ingredients

1 3lb pot roast (chuck)

flour, salt & pepper

2-3 jars of horseradish

cut up potatoes, carrots, celery, parsnips

Preparation

  1. Cover meat with flour, (make sure to use some arrowroot or cornstarch) salt & pepper
  2. Sear meat in olive oil & butter until brown
  3. Heat oven to 325. Place browned pot roast in pan with 1 1/2 c water with horseradish
  4. Bake for 3 hours.
  5. After 3 hours add onion, potato & carrots and cook for another hour.

If you use a crockpot, cook meat all day long. brown first. Add veggies & potatoes for 1 1/2 hrs on high. Don’t let veggies boil for too long!!!
