Ingredients

1/2 C. butter, slightly melted

1 lg. egg

1 1/2 C. oatmeal, ground in blender.

3/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. baking soda

3/4 C. brown sugar (packed)

3/4 C. raisins

3/4 C. dark chocolate chips/added later for second half

3/4 C. pecans, coarsely chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In blender add oatmeal and blend until the consistency of flour. In mixer add butter and brown sugar. Add 1 egg and beat until blended. Add oatmeal, baking soda, and salt. Add raisins. and pecans. Take lined baking sheets and place 1 dozen cookies (golf ball size) on covered cookie sheet, press slightly with fork. Bake 10-12 min. Let set to slightly cool before removing from baking sheet. Add 3/4 C. dark chocolate chips to remaining batter. Place 1 dozen cookies on second baking sheet. (chocolate, raisin, pecan) cookies. Cool before removing from baking sheet.
