Ingredients

21/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon vinegar

1 cup buttermilk

2 tablespoons cocoa

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 oz red food color

1 cup cooking oil

2 eggs

1 teasp of baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teasp salt

Cream sugar and oil, add eggs, beat well. add vinegar and food coloring mix well.

Sift dry ingredients then add flour & dry ingredients,alternately with buttermilk,add vanilla. beat well.

Preparation

bake 350 degrees for 25-30 mins. Use 2-9 inch layer round pan.

Frosting.

1 stick of butter 1 8 oz of cream cheese 1 cup of chopped nuts (optional) 1 box powered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream butter and cream cheese, add vanilla, mix well, add nuts. Frost cooled cake
