Ingredients

.7 lb ground beef

.3 lb sausage

1 egg

1 cup grated parmesan or pecorino romano

3.5 oz fontina cheese

.5 c breadcrumbs

.5 loaf leftover bread soaked in milk

1 tbsp. salt

pepper

garlic

EVOO

1 glass dry whitewine

fresh herbs

Preparation

combine ingredients thoroughly and let sit for a half hour. form into meatballs and roll them in breadcrumbs sauté garlic in EVOO over low heat brown meatballs over medium high heat until brown on the outside but not cooked inside add wine high heat - let wine evaporate. Should take 10-15 min and cook the meatballs through. add herbs and cover. If they dry out, add a little water.
