Ingredients
3/4 cup Yellow dal
3/4 cup Basmati Rice
2 tablespoons Ghee
1 tablespoon Cumin
2 teaspoons Salt
6 cups Water
Preparation
Rinse and soak rice and dal
Melt ghee in pressure cooker, add cumin and roast until popping/browning
Pour off water from Rice/Dal and add Rice/Dal to pressure cooker
Add salt, water, place lid on pressure cooker and cook until it has whistled for 7 minutes
Release pressure, stir and serve
