Ingredients

1 - 12 oz. can plus 1 - 5 oz. can evaporated milk

heavy cream

3/4 c. sugar

1 tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

  1. Combine both cans of evaporated milk.
  2. Add enough heavy cream to equal 3 cups.
  3. Add sugar and vanilla. Mix until sugar dissolves.
  4. Chill for several hours.
  5. Pour chilled mixture into freezer bowl while machine is running.
  6. Let mix until mixture thickens, 20-25 mins.
  7. Transfer to airtight container and place in freezer for 2 hours or until firm.
