Ingredients

3 lbs 80% lean ground Turkey

1 large can crushed tomatoes

1 can diced tomatoes and chilis

1 small can tomatillo salsa

1 large onion diced

2-3 cups of veggie/chicken broth (mix)

3 cloves garlic minced or about

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon

2 tbs ground cumin

3-4 tbs chili powder

1 can corn

1 can black beans

olive oil

Preparation

Boil down the broth in a pot on the stove to concentrate it until it’s about 0.5-1 cup in volume. Sautee the onion to brown slightly. Brown the ground turkey on high heat. Doesn’t have to cook all the way through, just get some searing action for flavor.

Then combine everything in the crockpot. Let it sit on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 hours if you’ve got the time.
