Ingredients
2 1/2 c flour
3/4 t baking soda
3/4 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c sourdough starter
3/4 c sugar
2/3 c oil
1/3 c sour cream or greek yogurt
3 eggs
2 t vanilla
For fruit/jam variations:
1 C pureed bananas, jam or pumpkin
increase flour to 3 cups, soda and baking powder to 1 teaspoon each and sugar to 1 cup

1 cup chopped fruit
Crumb topping
6 T melted butter
1 c flour
3 T brown sugar
3 T granulated sugar
1/4 t baking powder
pinch salt
1/2 c nuts (optional)*
if adding nuts to crumb topping, increase brown sugar to 1/4 cup
Preparation
Whisk dry ingredients together.
Mix starter and sugar until combined, add oil until incorporated. Add eggs and vanilla, then sour cream. If using fruit or jam, stir into batter and then incorporate dry ingredients.
Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes until skewer comes out clean.
