Ingredients
3 cups flour
3 cups sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
5 eggs
1 cup butter
1 cup buttermilk
1 tbsp flavor of choice
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 Prepare bundt cake pan with spray (or other) vegetable oil
Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Sift 3 times Cream butter, sugar and eggs Add flour mixture using buttermilk as needed for moisture. Add flavoring. Almond and lemon work well.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour 15 min. Remove cake from oven and cool completely.
Drizzle with glaze icing and serve. This tastes great alone or with fruit, ice cream or whipped cream.
