Ingredients

3/4 cups sugar

1 1/2 Tbs. butter

1 Tbs. orange rind

or

2 Tsp. lemon rind

2 eggs separated

3-4 Tbs. flour

1 cup milk

1/3 cup orange juice

or

1/4 cup lemon juice

Preparation

Cream sugar butter and rind. Add egg yolks and cream. Alternately add flour and liquid. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into mixture. Pour into a buttered 8x8 inch dish. Put cake pan in 1" water bath. Bake 350 for 54 min.
