Ingredients

2 packets 2 packages of Dry Yeast

1 cup Milk

6 tablespoons Shortening or butter

1/2 cup Sugar

1 teaspoon Salt

7 cups Flour

Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1 Cup luke warm water with 1 T sugar

Scald 1 cup milk, add 6 T shortening or butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp salt

Cool to luke warm & add 2 cups of flour & then the yeast mixture, then 3 eggs well beaten. Beat all together until light & bubbly

Add 5 cups of flour or enough to form a soft dough

Knead lightly and cover, let rise about 2 hours

Punch down & form into buns or roll out for rolls

Let rise & bake at 350 for 20 min
