Ingredients

1/4 cup oil

1 1/2 pounds Ground meat

1 cup onions, chopped

1/2 cup green pepper, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 1/4 lb can tomatoes, canned

1 lb 12 0z. can corn, canned

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 tablespoons Chili powder

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 cup cornmeal

1 cup water

1 can olives, pitted

1 1/2 cups milk

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 pound cheddar cheese, grated

2 eggs, beaten

Preparation

Brown meat in hot oil, add onions, garlic, green peppers, stirring until onions are golden

stir in tomatoes, corn, salt, chili powder, pepper and simmer 5 minutes.

stir in 1/2 cup of cornmeal, mixed with water. Simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Add Olives and turn into large baking dish.

heat milk with1 teas. salt and butter. Slowly stir in 1/2 cup corn meal. Cook stirring until thickened. (I do this in the Microwave).Remove from heat and stir in cheese and eggs .

Pour corn mixture over the meat mixture.
