Ingredients

8-10 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (about 2 1/2 pounds)

3/4 cup plain greek yogurt

1 lemon, zested and then juiced

4 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped

1/2 cup chopped white onion

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 tablespoon paprika

2 teaspoons ground cumin

2 teaspoons ground ginger

1 teaspoon turmeric

1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (less if you want the chicken less spicy)

cilantro, or garnish, optional

Preparation

Place chicken in ziploc bag. Combine the rest of the ingredients but cilantro. Marinate 6 hours or over night. Heat grill. Once heated place chicken on grill getting off most of marinade. Grill chicken until done 5-6 minutes each side. Serve over indian rice and with naan bread.
