Ingredients

16 apples

1/2 stick butter

1 1/2C cider

1/2t cinnamon

1/8C sugar

Preparation

  1. peel and cube apples
  2. melt the butter in large pan
  3. add apples to pan and stir
  4. add cider, cinnamon and sugar
  5. let simmer for 30-45 minutes, stirring occasionally so that the bottom doesn’t burn
  6. use potato masher to desired consistency
