Ingredients
2 cups Flour
2 cups Sugar
1 cup Butter
1 cup Water
3 tablespoons Cocoa
1/2 cup Milk
1 tablespoon Vinegar
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional, but I don’t use it)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 teaspoon Soda
3 tablespoons Icing Cocoa
1/3 cup Icing Milk
1/2 cup Icing Butter
3/4 cup Icing Powder Sugar
1 teaspoon Icing Vanilla
1 cup Icing Walnuts
Preparation
Mix together flour and sugar
Melt butter in water then add cocoa
Combine all the ingredients for the cake
Bake in a 17 1/4 by 11 3/8 pan at 350 for 20 minutes (if you only have 9/13 it will be a thicker cake)
Before the cake is done, melt the butter for the icing in the milk.
Add the cocoa, then the rest of the icing ingredients adjusting the powder sugar until the icing is a good consistency to spread on the cake.
Spread the icing on the cake as soon as it comes out of the oven so it seeps into the cake.
