Ingredients

1 stick Butter

1 cup Dried minced onion

1 cup Diced celery

1 tablespoon Thyme

1 tablespoon Sage

3 cups Chicken broth

2 Large eggs

1 loaf Bread diced into small pieces

Preparation

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Add minced onion and celery

Add sage and thyme

When the onion and celery are tender, but not caramelized, add chicken broth

While the broth is simmering, in a separate bowl, whisk eggs and parsley.

Add the stale/toasted bread to the egg mixture, and mix well.

Mix egg/bread mixture into the broth and remove from heat

Transfer the mixture to a glass baking dish. Dot with more butter, and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
