Ingredients

4 sliced tomatoes, cored (ripe but firm) that have been “sweated” on paper towels and patted dry. Slice thin enough to overlap easily .

Can use yellow and red tomatoes or just red tomatoes. May need more or less tomatoes depending upon size of tomatoes

Preparation

Over caramelized onions & horseradish, add 1 layer of cheeses and tomato slices that have been salt & peppered. Then sprinkle that layer w/fresh chopped basil leaves and Italian seasoning. Then add another layer of cheeses and tomato slices.

Bake @ 400 degrees on middle shelf for 30-35 minutes.

When taken out of oven, top with 4 whole basil leaves and serve.
