Ingredients
1 onion minced
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large can of tomatoes
100mL of red or white wine
pinch of sugar
thyme - 5 sprigs
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
sauté onion and garlic in oil and butter until golden and translucent. Add thyme, bay leaf, wine and cook for a three minutes. Add tomatoes, cook for 10 minutes. Add sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Serve with pasta
