Ingredients
3 1/2 c all purpose flour
2 c butter, room temperature
1 c berry sugar (or 1/2 c each of white and icing sugar)
1/2 c bittersweet chocolate chips
1/2 c milk chocolate chips
1/2 c white chocolate chips
1 c pecans, coarsely chopped
Preparation
Spread flour on rimmed baking sheet. Broil 4" from heat for 7-11 minutes, stirring as flour begins to brown, every 2-3 minutes. Watch it VERY carefully. Let cool.
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in flour. Stir in chocolate and nuts.
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2" apart, on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten before baking at 300F for 25-30 minutes. Let cool on racks.
