Ingredients

2 (8 oz) pkg Philadelphia Brand cream cheese

2/3 cup sugar

2 eggs

1/2 tsp almond extract

4 (1 oz) sq. unsweetened/semisweet chocolate

1 cup (2 sticks) butter

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

2 cup sugar

1 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

Sliced almonds

Preparation

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Grease 9" x 11" pan

Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, egg and almond extract. Melt chocolate and butter; cool. Beat eggs; add sugar, vanilla and chocolate mixture. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add to chocolate mixture and mix well.

Pour 1/2 of chocolate batter into greased 9" x 11" pan; spread with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining batter. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until inserted tooth pick comes out clean.
