Ingredients

1/2 cup ground walnuts

1 3/4 cups flour

1 tablespoon cinnamon

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

2/3 cup butter

1/3 cup cold water

Preparation

Combine all dry ingredients, cut in butter. Mix in water until just combined. Shape the dough in a ball, flatten, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.

Preheat oven to 190 C. Roll out dough to fit in 25 cm tart shell, crimping the edges. Prick the bottom with a fork, line with foil, fill with pie weights. Bake until set but not browned.
