Ingredients

Brown and drain 1 lb. grnd beef 1 lb. grd turkey

Sauté 3 chopped bell peppers (green,orange,yellow)

2 chopped onions

4 chopped cloves garlic

Add 2 cans chicken or vegetable broth (14.5oz)

1 can black eyed peas 15 oz

1 can garbanzo beans 15oz

1 can navy beans 15oz

4 oz can chopped green chilies

2 tbsp chili powder

3 tsp ground cumin

3 tsp oregano

2 tsp paprika

2 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

Preparation

Cook 8-10 hours in slow cooker (low heat) or cooktop about 1.5 hrs simmering on low. 1/2 cup boiling water stir in 2 tsp corn starch to thicken. Optional Add 3-4oz velvet cheese to thicken the chili.
