Ingredients
2 cups White Lily AP flour
1T Baking Powder
1t Salt
1/4 cup (2oz) butter, chilled
2/3 - 3/4 cups Buttermilk
Preparation
Heat oven to 500. In a large bowl combine flour, BP and salt. Cut in butter with a pastry blender to the size of peas. Blend in enough buttermilk with a fork till dough leaves sides of bowl.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead two or 3 times. Roll dough 1/2" thick. Cut using 2" biscuit cutter and place on baking sheet 1" apart.
Bake 8 - 10 minutes till golden.
